WeShall Sports & Entertainment Enters the Global Stage with the Signing of Elite Prospect Caleb Gaskins

Toronto, [January 15, 2026] – For the past year, a new name in sports and entertainment has been quietly building behind the scenes, meeting with athletes, signing rising stars, refining a model built on principles of integrity, precision, and purpose. Today, that name steps boldly into the public eye.

WeShall Sports & Entertainment (WSE) formally launches onto the global stage with 55 clients signed across basketball, football, and baseball, and the announcement of its latest high-profile addition: Caleb Gaskins, one of the top basketball prospects in the nation.

ABOUT WESHALL SPORTS & ENTERTAINMENT

Founded in 2024 by Wes Hall and Gina Ford, WeShall Sports & Entertainment is a majority-minority, women-led global agency that represents elite athletes and cultural figures. WSE offers world-class services in brand development, communications, marketing, contract advisory, and social impact strategy, empowering clients to build legacy-driven careers and brands that shape the culture around them.

But before today’s spotlight, there was strategy. Rather than chase headlines or quick notoriety, WSE chose a different path to master the fundamentals before the fanfare. For its first year, the agency operated in “ghost mode,” focusing on building operational infrastructure, securing top-tier talent, and proving its value athlete by athlete. The result is a foundation not just designed to compete, but to redefine what athlete-first representation looks like in 2026 and beyond.

“Our team was intentional about building quietly,” said Wes Hall, Founder of WeShall Sports & Entertainment. “Day one wasn’t about attention, it was about execution. We focused on earning trust, building systems, and investing in athletes before ever seeking a spotlight. Now, with a proven foundation, 55 clients, and momentum behind us, we’re ready to tell the world who we are and what we stand for.

WSE enters the marketplace with an unapologetically ambitious mission: to transform how athletes are represented, marketed, and developed on and off the field. Headquartered in Miami with an office in Toronto and clients across North America, Europe, Africa and the Caribbean, the agency positions itself as a global hub for athlete empowerment and storytelling. Its roster includes rising and established players across major professional sports and elite amateurs poised to become future stars.

MEET THE LEADERS BEHIND THE MOVEMENT

At the center of WSE’s marketing and brand strategy is Gina Ford, Chief Executive Officer and one of the most accomplished executives in sports and entertainment marketing. With more than two decades of experience, Ford has shaped some of the most influential athlete-brand relationships in modern sports. Her career began in Citibank’s private wealth management division before she launched her own sports and entertainment marketing firm. Her defining moment came in 2008, when she identified the commercial potential of a then-emerging Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt and secured his first major endorsement with Gatorade, helping ignite one of the most iconic commercial runs in sports history.

Ford also made history as the first marketing agent to represent consecutive No. 1 overall NBA Draft picks in 2018 and 2019, solidifying her reputation for identifying and elevating generational talent.

“Athletes today are founders of their own futures,” said Gina Ford, CEO of WeShall Sports & Entertainment. “They don’t just play the game, they shape culture. Our job is to give them the strategy, protection, and vision to build something that lasts far beyond the scoreboard.” Her leadership infuses WSE with credibility and global perspective. “Representation isn’t just about negotiating contracts,” Ford explained. “It’s about helping athletes build a legacy that outlasts their playing career. We’re creating an ecosystem that invests in long-term success, financially, culturally, and personally.”

WSE also brings an in-house social media team that works directly with clients to build their personal brands and developing a clear blueprint for growth, audience engagement, and consistent storytelling across platforms.

THE HEADLINE SIGNING: CALEB GASKINS

WSE’s formal debut coincides with the signing of Caleb Gaskins, a 6-foot-9 forward from Miami, Florida, ranked No. 13 nationally by ESPN in the Class of 2026. Gaskins, committed to the University of Miami for the 2026–27 season, also earned selection to represent the United States on the 2026 USA Men’s Nike Hoop Summit Team. The signing signals WSE’s focus on identifying high-caliber talent early, offering young athletes the infrastructure and mentorship to navigate the evolving NIL era and build sustainable brands well before they reach the professional level.

“The addition of Caleb underscores our philosophy,” said Ford. “We’re not waiting for athletes to ‘make it’ before giving them world-class support. We’re building alongside them, helping them think globally, brand smartly, and plan strategically from day one.”

A BLUEPRINT FOR INDUSTRY CHANGE

At its core, WSE isn’t positioning itself as just another agency, it’s positioning itself as a cultural movement within sports representation. With a model combining elite contract advocacy, brand building, and personal development, WSE aims to raise the industry standard for professionalism, transparency, and athlete welfare.

As it grows, WSE plans to expand into additional sports verticals, and global entertainment bridging sports, media, and culture to create new avenues for athlete storytelling and brand partnerships.

“We’re building the foundation of a company that will one day compete with the handful of firms at the top of our industry,” said Wes Hall. “But we’ll do it differently, we’ll do it by staying true to our values, protecting athlete interests, and setting a higher bar for how this business operates globally.”
